STORY READING WORKSHOP AND BRAIN ENHANCERS PROGRAM – REPORT

• The workshop began with a solemn prayer, setting a positive and focused tone for the day’s activities.
• Vice Principal Mrs. Malini delivered an insightful presentation on brain enhancers, focusing on how a child’s brain develops and the critical importance of fostering this development.
• Her narration, supported by an informative PowerPoint presentation, highlighted various aspects of brain growth and provided practical strategies for parents and educators to support children’s cognitive development.
• The teachers then demonstrated the story reading sessions conducted in the school. This segment showcased the techniques and methods used from Day 1 to Day 7 of the story reading program.
• The demonstrations illustrated how engaging and interactive story reading sessions can be, emphasizing their role in enhancing children’s language skills and imagination.
• Ms Lavanya concluded the workshop by sharing seven valuable tips for creating a conductive home environment for children.
• These tips are designed to support and nurture children’s learning and development at home, complementing the efforts made at school.
• The workshop was a comprehensive and enriching experience for all participants.
