Message from the Management
PRASAN VIDYA BALA MANDIR is situated in Chengalpattu which populates 2,10,000 inhabitants. The school is designed to instill the child’s imagination & thirst for knowledge, providing each child with solid foundations of superior language coupled with Analytical skills.
The cause of its existence was Sri. Prasannamal, a philanthropist who had a strong vision that education is the one which uncovers the knowledge hidden by ignorance, leading to see the invisible behind the visible.
PVBM is managed by K C Prasannamal Memorial Educational Trust.
The school’s inception was in 2009 in Chengalpattu, Periya Maniyakar Street.
The campus measures 0.6 acres. In the mission of creating lifelong learners. The school carries the motto “Learn to Lead”.
PVBM is a co educational, English medium school following the Matric syllabus.
PVBM is completing 17 years in the academic year 2025-2026.
Students by and large commute by walk and also by private vehicles.
Teachers priority is to reach students first and then teach, which is the USB of the institution.
Continuous Professional Development for the staff members proves that PVBM is a Learning Organization.

SPORTS FACILITIES
The most exciting time for a student irrespective of age would be to look forward to the school play ground and games sessions. School strives to nurture physical strength and stamina along with the academic learning. The School has developed a sports curriculum that is alert to this need, also uses a robust system of measurement of sporting skill, interest and achievement. The curriculum covers team games, individual sport and traditional games. Space to play is also fixed as per the classes that are allotted games time. The playground is ever filled with students around school time, before and after.
KINDERGARTEN PLAY AREA
The vibrant kindergarten playground is filled with swings, slides, and other play structures, offering children a space to expend their energy and rejuvenate. The addition of a pebble walk enhances their experience, providing a delightful sensory activity that helps them explore different textures while improving balance and coordination.
FIRST AID ROOM
A bed with supportive first aid devices are placed in the first aid room. the first aid boxes are also placed in . While routine first aid is administered by the staff, emergency is referred by the nearby hospital with the consent of the needy.
LIBRARY
An inviting place , equitable approach and accessibility to all are the school library. This learner oriented laboratory not only focuses to have a silent zone but in creating the proximal zone of development as explained by vygotsky, a famous psychologist. Students irrespective of their socio-economic status, get inspiration to read refer and utilize the resource. The library is integral to the social and cultural life of the school. The library offers material learning for enhancing reading skills to become a passionate reader information for search to students, Provides reference materials to prepare and perform better.
MEDICAL CHECKUP
Medical check up will be conducted by the doctors arranged by the school and reports will be sent to parents for information and remedying the defects if any. The reports are informed to the parent through health card.
