Krishna Jayanthi Celebration
On the auspicious occasion of Krishna Jayanthi, our school joyfully celebrated the birth of Lord Krishna with great devotion and enthusiasm. The entire campus came alive with a divine ambiance as children arrived dressed as little Krishna and Radha, radiating festive charm and excitement.
Before the main program, our Honorable Principal hoisted the National Flag in the presence of the children, commemorating Independence Day. The students were served a tricolored snack and enjoyed a special video presentation that highlighted the spirit of patriotism and the values of freedom, igniting young minds with pride for the nation.
The celebration began with a traditional pooja, where beautifully adorned idols of Lord Krishna were worshipped. This was followed by a series of performances that reflected innocence, devotion, and joy:
The children sang a melodious birthday song for Lord Krishna.
UKG students rendered a soulful Krishna song, while LKG students charmed everyone with a graceful dance performance.
A vibrant group dance by the children, dressed in colorful traditional attire, delighted the audience and beautifully reflected Krishna’s playful and loving spirit.
Adding to the devotional mood, our Vice Principal narrated captivating stories from Lord Krishna’s childhood. These tales of mischief and morals fascinated the young listeners and kept them completely engaged.
To heighten the festive spirit, several Krishna-themed games and activities
were organized, including:
Uriyadi
Walking on bricks with Krishna dolls
Pot painting
Tug of war
The laughter, excitement, and joyful participation made these activities memorable for both the children and teachers.
The Krishna Jayanthi celebration was a resounding success, filled with devotion, cheer, and youthful energy. The enthusiastic participation of the students and their delightful performances made the day truly unforgettable for everyone present.
