The most awaited and high powered “Fine motor work station” was held on 26.06.2021 with great zeal and excitement. Fine Motor Workstation was a hands on activities workshop provided for the kids to enhance their small muscles, tripod grip and to develop their eye hand co-ordination.
Fine Motor Work Station was held in two slots for the Kindergarteners. Kids were suggested to be ready with the required materials to perform the activities. The activities for LKG kids were sharpening, stapling, lacing the leaves, wrapping the toys, spray water to plants, inserting rubber bands on the bottle, clay rolling, tracing vehicles on the tape, pasting the balls on cello tape, fun with funnel, colander with buds and arranging the stones on strokes and curves.
The activities for UKG kids were picks button with toothpick, build 3D shapes with pop sickle sticks, rescue the animals, nail salon, draw inside the cartoon box, connect dots with respective colours, weaving around the gasket, paper cutting with safety scissors, bindi pasting, arranging sticks on the shapes, art with rolling pin and inserting jump clips.
The kids were able to perform the activities with lots of confidence and pride along with the teachers. It was an experiential learning for both kids ,parents and teachers.
