Report on Kindergarten Guru Poornima celebration

Objective: Reverence to gurus

On July 2nd, Guru Poornima was observed with a great deal of reverence and enthusiasm. Children brought flowers and decorated a small area in all the kindergarten classrooms and performed the candle prayer by chanting Guru sloka. Class teachers explained that this special day is an opportunity to thank our teachers, parents and all elders who help us to learn and grow. Our little kindergarten kids expressed their gratitude by singing a Guru poornima rhyme.
