Kindergarten Clean Day Celebration 2024 – 2025

Report on clean day celebration

Date :13.9.2024

Day: FRIDAY

Class: Pre KG, LKG and UKG

Our school organized a Clean Day Celebration, aimed at fostering awareness about cleanliness and environmental care among the youngest students. The day’s events were designed to be both educational and enjoyable.

The celebration began with a craft activity where children made creative pieces using discarded materials. Old newspapers, bottles, and cardboard were transformed into beautiful crafts, teaching the kids the importance of reusing and recycling waste.

The children took part in an engaging game focused on waste segregation. They were tasked with sorting biodegradable items like fruit peels and paper from non-biodegradable ones such as plastic and tins. This hands-on activity helped the children understand waste management and its importance.

In a unique campaign, the kindergarten students, holding colourful placards, visited the higher classes to promote cleanliness. Through slogans they encouraged students to keep their surroundings clean, creating an inspiring atmosphere of teamwork and responsibility.

The children then participated in cleaning their own classroom by organizing toys, wiping down bookshelves, and making sure the room was tidy. This activity helped them learn the importance of maintaining cleanliness in their immediate surroundings.

To further reinforce the importance of cleanliness, our vice principal mam and teachers performed an enactment on good hygiene practices This showcased habits like washing hands, throwing trash in bins, and keeping personal spaces clean, providing valuable lessons for the children in an engaging manner.

The event provided a meaningful and fun platform for the kindergarten students to learn about the significance of cleanliness, recycling, and good hygiene. The children thoroughly enjoyed the activities, and the event left a positive impression, motivating them to apply what they learned in their daily lives.
