Report on Kindergarten Parent Orientation Programme 2024-2025

Prasan Vidya Bala Mandir hosted a Parent Orientation Programme for LKG and UKG students in two sessions. The event commenced with a prayer and a welcome address, aiming to introduce parents and children to the school community, outline our programs, and familiarize parents with our policies and procedures.

An engaging icebreaker session led by Vice Principal Mrs. Malini, followed by introduction of the school higher officials, class teachers, and the school motto, vision, and mission were briefed.

Key highlights of the programme included:

– School timings, arrival, and dispersal procedures

– Importance of healthy eating habits

– Overview of the curriculum and assessment procedures

– Encouragement of parent involvement and communication with teachers, students, and parents

– Schedule of meetings with parents

The programme aimed to familiarize parents with the school’s policies, procedures, and expectations, fostering a collaborative environment for the academic year ahead.

 Mrs. Lavanya provided insights into co-curricular activities, celebrations, fun days, awards, and acknowledgments & steps to access chrysalis learning materials.

Principal, Mrs. Rooba, shared her valuable thoughts with the parents, emphasizing the importance of believing in and respecting children, as they have the potential to achieve remarkable feats.

The Parent Orientation Programme concluded with the aim of fostering a collaborative environment that nurtures the growth and development of our young learners.
