Each year as we and will joyously rejoice in Sri Krishna’s birth, we are reminded that he is a living embodiment of the blissful Self. Smiles were abounding on Sri Krishna Jayanthi at PVBM as twinkling stars and faculty members joined to enthusiastically celebrate Sri Krishna’s birth.Kids adorned in traditional attire, some as Little Krishnas and Radhas.

The ambience was set colourfully depicting the birth place of Lord Krishna with Jhoola. An earthen pot containing butter was hung high in the air.

The presence of Lord Krishna was felt with beautiful art of Little Krishna’s feet in School corridor. Auspicious arathi, delicious prasadhams and creamiest butter was offered to Sri Krishna with unconditional love and happiness.Birthday song for Krishna was sung with great devotion.

Along with these traditional festivities, PVBM Kindergarteners performed Dance, Skit and chanted Bhajans.

Tremendous Puppet show on “ Krishna Kalinganarthana” story by our beloved Vice Principal captured the attention of the Kindergartners, Class 1& 2 and marked the celebration with more fun and frolic.

With great joy kids decorated Lord Krishna’s Peacock Feather.Also kids enjoyed the fun filled “Vasudev carrying infant Krishna” game and traditional walk.

Kids waited with devotional fervour to take part in the traditional pot breaking game Uriyadi. The little krishnas of PVBM elevated themselves high to easily shatter the pot with a stick.

The entire campus was filled with blessings of Lord Krishna.
