Sri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with merriment and pleasure at Prasan Vidya Bala Mandir on August 27, 2021 to seek the blessings of Natkhat Nandhalal.
The day was filled with the scent of flowers, the calming perfume of camphor, and the ringing of bells.
The exhilaration of performing Aarathi to Lord Krishna by our Principals’ launched off the festivity.
The ultimate aim of commemorating Krishna Janmashtami was achieved by performing the birthday hymn and “Krishna has a bamboo flute” tune was presented by our children.
Cute pies dressed in traditional attire danced to rejoice Lord Krishna’s blessings.
We owe it upon ourself to be ourselves, tots and kindergarten staff did a great job on performing the bhajan.
Lord Krishna’s mischievous conduct was witnessed through a skit.
Some of our Little Krishnas’ and Radhas’ participated and performed Uriyadi with zeal and enthusiasm and a video was shown during the virtual celebration.
Our Vice Principal made a nutritious and tasty ladoo with dried fruits, and the students followed the directions. And we all sampled it, and the kids learned how to make a delicious ladoo.
Worksheets were given to the children ahead of time, and during the active online session, the toddlers coloured them with their own creativity, which was captured and a video was prepared and witnessed by the audience.
