Kiev to host first ever Ukrainian gambling job fair

Almost a year has passed since gambling business was officially legalised in Ukraine. Gradually the local jurisdiction is attracting gambling operators, who are openly declaring their readiness to hire Ukrainian specialists from various fields.

These aspirations were analyzed by Smile-Expo, a major organizer of gambling events in the CIS. It was Smile-Expo who decided to hold the country's first ever job fair in Kiev, Casino Job Fair.

The event is scheduled for June 30 this year. Official sites not covered by gamstop representatives of Ukrainian gambling operators, including casinos and betting shops, and job seekers who want to work in the industry will gather in Oasis conference hall in the capital city.

According to the presented press release, gambling companies that have officially opened in Ukraine, are in desperate need of workers of different profiles. Thus, according to studies, the most popular professions in the young gambling industry in Ukraine are general and ordinary managers, croupiers, playing dealers, security services employees, slot machine room operators, marketing experts, programmers and system administrators.

Directly at the event, participants who are on the lookout for a promising job can leave their CV by handing them over to the operators' representatives. There will also be a chance to discuss working conditions, salaries and career opportunities right outside the booths.
