Programme Name : Pongal Celebration

Our PVBM kindergarten children celebrated pongal with great excitement.

A day to learn, the importance of thanksgiving Day for farmers, the sun god, and nature. The ambiance such as bullock cart, hut, pots, and sugarcanes was created and decorated for the occasion. The kids came with a traditional outfits. Children were engaged in traditional activities such as stringing mango leaves and pounding grams of fried bengal gram. kids applied turmeric to their cheeks and enjoyed it. The kids loved to color the rangoli and enjoyed to play the game of musical chair and hopscotch. Through the Pongal celebration, children were exposed to the respect and exaltation of our culture and traditions.
