PVBM celebrated Pongal, the harvest festival in a splendid manner on 13th January 2023. Students from class 1 to class 12 reported smartly in ethnic wear to school. The celebration began with school prayer followed by a message that reminded the children about the importance of harvest festival. Students of class 8 performed an enthralling pongal song and fascinating dance honouring the farmers. As a part of the celebration traditional “Charkara Pongal” was prepared in pots and shared to the students and staff. The entire campus was filled with festive attire, colourful rangolis, decorated pongal pots, and sugarcanes enhancing the festival spirit. The highlight of the pongal celebration was the students of class 6 to 12 enjoyed the fun games and students of class 1 to 5 experienced the bagless day with traditional lunch and indigenous fun games.
