Raksha Bandhan is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions.
The tiny tots of kindergarten celebrated this festival with great zeal and endeavor on 29 August, Tuesday.
The concept of Raksha Bandhan has a much wider concept beyond the raksha of sister by her brother, the mutual commitment of safe-guard, protections, and bonding of us all to each other in our family.
The tiny tots, in traditional attires enthusiastically participated in tying rakhi on the wrist of their classmates. The vibrant, colorful attires and innocent smiles brightened the ambiance of the classrooms.
Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala, The festival of Onam is .dedicated to the King Mahabali who sacrificed himself along with his kingdom in order to stand true to his words.
Children brought petals of different colour flowers from home and were engaged in making a colourful flower Rangoli – ‘Pookalam’.
Everything put together gave a cultural ambience to the environment and the atmosphere was full of festivity and colour.
